About Score

Score is Security Check’s Online Reporting Environment that is made available to all of our clients. Depending on the setup of your account, all reports can be drilled down from Corporate Totals to Branch Totals to Store Totals to Check writer detail to Check Image. This system keeps up to 3 months of current data and allows you to view, print or download daily, weekly and monthly activity.

The following reports may be subscribed to:

·       Checks Received Status Report

·       Outstanding Check Status Report

·       Compliance Report

·       Client Summary Report

 

You can run any available reports using multiple formatting options listed below:

·       HTML (internet pages/browser)

·       Microsoft Excel (95/97 and 2000)

·       Adobe Acrobat Reader (we need to have a link for the customer to download adobe acrobat reader right here!)

Help Using Score

USING SCORE IS AS EASY AS 1 – 2 – 3

 

1.     COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM

Complete the online registration form and submit it for set up. The form will ask you to complete information about you, the user, your store information, and then have you request a user id (name) and password – this will be your access to the system when your user account is set up.

 

2.     GET SET BY SECURITY CHECK

Security Check’s Client Services Department will receive your request and get everything set up for you to have the access to running reports. You will receive an email notifying you that you are set up and can begin accessing your own reporting.

 

3.     ACCESS YOUR OWN REPORTING

Simply connect to the website … and log in using your selected user id and password and select the report that you want to run and then select the dates you want to run and the format type. The system will automatically select only your store(s) information based on the set up that Client Services had created … and you get the reports that you want in just a matter of seconds! Yes seconds!

What is a Checks Received Status Report?

A listing of all checks input into Security Check’s system for collection during the time period that you choose to run the report.

What is a Paid Check Report?

A listing of all checks paid to Security Check during the time period that you choose.

 

 

What is a Returned Check Report?

A listing of all checks returned to you by Security Check. These are checks that you request to be returned to you, or those that we receive affidavits of forgery and police reports and are no longer able to collect.

 

 

What is a Outstanding Check Status Report?

A listing of all checks outstanding to Security Check that were listed in the time period that you choose. The outstanding report does not include any checks that have been paid or returned to you – just those that we are still working!

What is a Compliance Report?

Gives you store(s) performance in an easy-to-read format. This report gives you the total checks received by store for the period you choose, how many had a home phone #, how many had a work phone #, how many had a complete address and how many had a social security #. The report also gives you the % of checks that had this information to the total received. You can easily sort the report to see which stores do the best at getting the information needed for collections … or which stores do not.

What is a Client Summary Report?

Gives you store(s) activity totals. This report lists the $ amount received during the period you choose, $ amount NSF, $ amount Other, $ amount paid, $ amount returned, $ amount outstanding. This is a good summary of your store(s) activity for the period you choose.

What is the best way to run and print the reports?

The best way to simply view your report (if you do not want to print it) is to use the HTML/internet browser. You can easily run the report … and view the finished product right there. You can immediately drill down right there in the finished report to see any detail levels that you need. This drill down is available on all reports!

The best way to print the reports is in Adobe Acrobat because the print setup is already done. If you run your reports in Excel you will have to format the print yourself. (we need to have a link for the customer to download adobe acrobat reader right here!)

 

 

When I download in excel format, how can I save it to my hard drive?

Once you download the file … it is on your system! Work as you normally do – just as you created the file right there on your computer. All you need to do is click on file, click on save as, and then save it to your desired file on your computer.

 

 

How current is the information I am getting?

Security Check downloads the information to our secured server each night. Therefore, the detail activity is never more than 24 hours old. However, the data that is available to pull to the reports is only for the most recent 3-month period. Therefore, we update the last three months of checks received daily – each night we update each check’s status.

 

 

What if I need more than 3 months worth of data?

Please call your assigned client service representative at (800) 634-4484 and they will have access to this information for you and can easily email you the report.
